The 2024 Met Gala is our Roman Empire. Thanks to the perennially star-studded Met Gala guest list, the red carpet is the biggest and boldest fashion event of the year and we’ve got you covered with every designer look that steps foot on the stairs of the Met.

This year, the red carpet is guaranteed to be quite literally blooming with stunning looks thanks to the 2024 Met Gala theme “Garden of Time” (inspired by a J.G. Ballard short story written in 1962). The event, which is tied to the Met’s Costume Exhibit, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” pays “tribute to the natural world,” nodding to land, sea, and sky, and will feature a collection of approximately 250 items spanning 400 years, pulled from the permanent collection. Add to the mix an exceptional list of sartorially savvy gala co-chairs in Fashion Icon of the Moment Zendaya, 14-time Met Gala attendee and internet-breaker (or in some cases, maker) Jennifer Lopez, It Boy and fashion tastemaker Bad Bunny, and literal Marvel God Chris Hemsworth, and you have yourself a fashion night for the history books.

Sydney Sweeney wore Miu Miu denim co-ords, including a jean crop top and ultra low-rise jeans, with visible white briefs while stepping out on May 4. Later that night, she changed into another denim outfit, a peplum jean military-style jacket paired with denim Daisy Duke shorts.
