And there was a rare appearance from Moses, too.
Celebrating with friends and major fashion brands is a family affair now for Gwyneth Paltrow and her kids: Apple, 19, and Moses, 18. In a new carousel of images shared to her Instagram, the Oscar-winning actress showed off a few snapshots from a night of celebration that happened to include famous friends and one of the hottest brands of the moment: Loro Piana. In one of the photos, Paltrow poses with her kids—and Apple is suited up just like her mom, although they didn’t go for a full-on twinning moment and instead just chose to coordinate in their tailored separates. Apple wore a slouchy black suit and her mother opted for a delicious-looking caramel suit with cropped pants.
Other images from the night included a shot with Oprah Winfrey and cameos from Rob Lowe and Elaine Welteroth.
“A few of my favorite things…Montecito, dinner al fresco, and quality time with friends and family. Oh and being in bed by 9PM. What a special night with @goop and @loropiana,” Paltrow captioned her Instagram post.

During her In Goop Health Summit, Paltrow opened up about her future as an empty nester. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Moses is set to go off to college this year.
"It’s kind of giving me a nervous breakdown, if I’m honest," Paltrow said. "I started being like, ‘Oh my God, and I need to quit my job and I need to sell my house and I need to move.’ It’s sort of putting things into turmoil.”
She added, “My identity has been being a mother. Apple’s going to be 20 in May. So I’ve oriented my whole life around them and their schedules and when school starts. You start to let go in increments when they’re driving themselves around or doing certain things. It is a slower process.”

Of course, she has plenty of pals to give her advice on the matter.
“Psychologist-astrologist Jennifer Freed said, ‘I would like you to think of it as being free birds instead of having an empty nest.’ And that resonates,” Paltrow finished, according to the industry publication. “Instead of creating a sense of loss—what if I were free? And I could say yes to a girls’ weekend, because I didn’t feel guilty. That kind of thing.”
