It's even more polarizing than the one she wore to the Met Gala.
Kim Kardashian refuses to give her organs a break. Just days after cinching her waist into oblivion at the 2024 Met Gala in a metal mesh skirt and a matching corset, the reality star continued to divide the internet with another polarizing lingerie look.
On Wednesday, Kardashian shared a slideshow of photos of an outfit that was probably intended for the Met Gala after-parties, but never saw the light of day (she flew to Germany immediately following the event). Calling her second look the “Margiela Broken Doll,” the SKIMS founder wore a shape-shifting black leather corset over a flesh-colored velvet bodysuit with distressed knee pads that looked like open wounds and a pair of skeleton-finger gloves. She accessorized with towering black platform heels, a mushroom-shaped hat, and a ghoulish neckpiece.
In the comments section of her post, critics of Kardashian's corset called out the fashion entrepreneur for perpetuating an unhealthy body image, with one writing: "Not a good look, I’m afraid. If it feels like it sets a dangerous precedent." Another added, "This is a horrible message to send to your daughters and other young women. It’s not healthy."
A third chimed in, "Oh we leaving our waists at home I see…"

Meanwhile, others were fans of the waist-snatching look. "It’s fashion you all get over it," a user wrote coming to Kardashian's defense, while many more double-tapped, adding a "gorgeous" or "love" in the comments.
During the Met Gala, Kardashian’s corset was so constricting that she needed assistance walking up the museum’s steps. And in a behind-the-scenes video of her getting dressed for the red carpet, she can be seen practicing her breath-work, telling Vogue: “It’s an art form, but I got it,” she said while her team laced up her garment. “I’ll feel so snatched, I won’t even be able to communicate to you how snatched I feel.”
