AHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Zendaya thought the 2024 Met Gala “Garden of Time” carpet was so nice she did it twice. That’s right. Nearly two hours after she first arrived in her head-turning peacock look, the star returned to the steps again to have another go in a black silk ballgown with the longest train ever.
Zendaya round two consisted of an off-the-shoulder vintage 1996 Givenchy dress with a satin regency-style lace-up corset and ruffled sleeves. But it was the many-feet-long train, which cascaded down the stairs behind her, and her floral bouquet Alexander McQueen headpiece that stole the scene.

She accessorized with diamond drop earrings, and even her makeup appeared to be redone, this time with lilac-colored inner-corner eyeshadow, a mauve lip, and bleached brows.
As expected, Zendaya took her role as co-chair very seriously, putting in overtime on the 2024 carpet. Earlier in the night, the actress arrived in a whimsical blue-and-green peacock gown adorned with ornate grapes, birds, and flowers detailing. She also wore a hat during her first trip up the stairs, but instead of flowers, the fascinator had a singular feather poking out of the top.

Although the outfit change was unexpected, it shouldn’t come as a shock to fans that Zendaya and her longtime stylist, Law Roach, had something special up their (very fashionable) sleeves for her tenure as co-chair. The actress is never afraid to take risks on the carpet and is a pro at theme dressing. Case in point? Earlier this year, Zendaya wore the iconic 1995 Mugler robot suit for a Dune: Part Two event before embarking on a very preppy tour de force of tenniscore outfits for Challengers press.
