If Bella Hadid dressed as a goddess yesterday, then she is channelling her inner angel today.
The model and freshly-minted perfume entrepreneur has emerged from her ultra-private life in Texas to promote her new fragrance line, Orebella. The olfactory collection, inspired by Hadid’s wellness journey (particularly essential oils), has three scents named “Blooming Fire,” “Window2Soul,” and “Salted Muse.” And with her recent parade of neutral, ethereal looks, Hadid is becoming our very own salted muse.
Today, the model, styled by Molly Dickson, donned a white strapless dress from Rokh’s fall 2024 collection. The dress featured a strapless corset top with a sheer lace torso panel, and a drop-waist skirt with an asymmetrical hemline and festooned with diagonal ruffles. Unlike the model’s more haphazard styling, Hadid opted for a more romantic look, pairing the dress with vintage strappy white heeled sandals from Chanel. She accessorized with a heap of gold jewelry, including a large floral pendant (perhaps a nod to “Blooming Fire?”), and several rings.
Yesterday, Hadid set an otherworldly, elegant precedent in an impeccably preserved Christian Dior dress by John Galliano from spring 2004. The nude dress was also complete with a low waist and feminine details. Bella Hadid is certainly making the case for whimsical spring dressing.
