Jennifer Lopez has also been spotted in the brand’s comfortable footwear.
I’ve only ever associated the leather brand Coach with handbags. I particularly correlate them with the formative years of my youth when pining over a shoulder bag with the iconic letter print was all that occupied my headspace.
It wasn’t until now, at 30 years old, that I finally added a product from Coach’s offerings to my closet that I had never tried before — shoes. The style I incorporated into my footwear lineup was the Runner Sneaker in moss/army green, which adds a pop of color to my majority-neutral wardrobe. They’re also on sale right now for 30 percent off.

While handbags were always top of mind, it didn’t occur to me to give Coach’s sneakers a whirl until I saw Jennifer Lopez in a pair. The singer was recently spotted in the brand’s low-top sneakers, and while I love their sleek profile, I figured I’d give another silhouette a try that felt sportier since I already own my fair share of white sneakers.
The Runner Sneaker — available in beige, black, lavender, and moss green — features a lightweight, supportive sole, suede and nylon contrasting details, and a pointed toe. While I haven’t run in them, I have done some serious walking in them. The day I got the shoes, I immediately put them to the test, walking several miles on the rough city sidewalks near my apartment. They required zero break-in period, and the cushiony sole kept my feet comfortable and pain-free.
Since they have a suede exterior, I wouldn’t recommend them for rainy days to preserve the beautiful craftsmanship. Also, keep in mind that they run on the larger side, so consider sizing down a half or even a full size to find your perfect fit. Although they’re not for strenuous workouts, they make the perfect footwear companion to my fancier outfits when I want a sportier, laid-back flair.
Shoppers agree that the sneakers are an elevated shoe option worth having readily available in your wardrobe. One reviewer called them “super comfy with a luxe sporty vibe.” Another person who said their feet tend to get painful quickly after hours of walking mentioned these are “the best [shoes they’ve] ever worn” and have “helped prevent the onset of this pain.” A third customer called them “great for an afternoon out or traveling across the country.”
