When Glossier launched in 2014, it revolutionized the beauty landscape and pioneered the minimalist, your-skin-but-better look that still reigns supreme a decade later. What’s more, the products are easy to use and relatively affordable. “Glossier is a fabulous brand because it allows consumers to get their hands on amazing products in luxe packaging for reasonable prices,” says makeup artist Natalie Drescher.
The brand is focused on efficacious, skin-loving formulas, and even the makeup has nourishing ingredients, like hyaluronic acid, so your skin can look and feel its very best. We tapped Drescher and two other makeup artists to identify the best Glossier products. Shop their expert picks below.

Best Overall Glossier Product
Glossier Boy Brow
View On Sephora $20 View On Glossier.com $20
What We Love: It’s super easy to use.
What We Don’t Love: The wand could be a bit longer.
Each artist we spoke to gushed over this brow pomade. “The tinted version is the most amazing product, and I carry them in my kit for all genders,” says Drescher. Celebrity makeup artist Aliana Lopez adds: “Having sparse brows, I love a product that gives the effect of volume and has hold. With boy brow, I’m able to wear a natural groomed eyebrow look every day.”
Celebrity makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes loves using the gray shade for an ashy blonde brow. “I’m very intentional with the shade selection,” says Hughes. “Their gray is an amazing alternative to an ash blonde as well as a gray because it’s not a warm color at all; some blonde products can lean warm or even ginger.”

Glossier Balm Dotcom
View On Sephora $14 View On Glossier.com $14
What We Love: It provides the perfect hint of color.
What We Don’t Love: The ridged cap gets dirty easily.
This super moisturizing balm comes in a mix of tints and flavors. Hughes loves the option Wild Fig. “It’s this beautiful pinky-red that isn’t too pigmented nor too pale, and it tastes delicious,” she says. Lopez favors the shade Berry. “There’s nothing sexier than a wine-stained tint on your lips, and the flavor is so yummy,” says Lopez. “I love popping this over a neutral liner for just a hint of color and a great pump of hydration.” Rose is Drescher’s go-to. “I love the tint of the rose balm; it’s a barely-there pink that freshens up chapped lips,” says Drescher. There are nine options — one unscented and untinted, two are scented and untinted, and six are tinted and scented.
Best Glossier Facial Cleanser for Dry-to-Normal Skin
Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser
View On Sephora $22 View On Glossier.com $12
What We Love: It won’t strip your skin.
What We Don’t Love: It’s not strong enough to remove heavy-duty makeup.
Gentle yet effective, this pH-balancing cleanser will wash the day's grime down the drain. “Balancing your skin’s pH is super important since our face is exposed to the elements every day,” says Drescher. “I find that it can properly melt away my makeup on lighter makeup days, but on full glam days, I definitely need to take off my makeup with something else prior.”
Best Glossier Complexion Product
Glossier Stretch Concealer
View On Sephora $22 View On Glossier.com $22
What We Love: The formula is lightweight and buildable.
What We Don’t Love: You have to dip your fingers inside the jar, which may not be as sanitary as other vessels.
Hughes says the best Glossier complexion product is, hands down, the Stretch Balm Concealer. “I have it in my own makeup bag, and I have every shade in my kit,” she says. It photographs like a dream and it wears so well. I don’t have a single con, truly. I used this on someone with hyperhidrosis, and it looked incredible. It looks gorgeous on everyone– every skin tone and texture.”
Best Glossier Cheek Product
Glossier Cloud Paint
View On Sephora $22 View On Glossier.com $22
What We Love: The formula is creamy and pigmented.
What We Don’t Love: It’s easy to accidentally squeeze out too much since it’s packaged in a tube.
“This is the best and most subtle gel-cream blush on the market,” says Drescher. “It’s easy to apply with just your fingers and easily elevates an everyday look. Cream blushes, in general, can be intimidating, but this super sheer formula allows it to be less daunting.” Her favorite shade is Puff, a gorgeous soft and cool pink. It also comes in nine other blush colors and five bronzers.
Best Glossier Facial Cleanser for Oily Skin
Glossier Cleanser Concentrate
View On Sephora $24 View On Glossier.com $24
What We Love: Great for pore-clogged and textured skin.
What We Don’t Love: It’s a bit intense for daily use.
Mixing exfoliating grape extract and lactic acid with amino-acid surfactants, this purifying cleanser leaves your skin squeaky clean. “Personally, I love that clean-pore feeling, and this cleanser delivers that while leaving your skin with a super lush hydrating feeling,” says Lopez, who adds that it’s great at smoothing her textured skin.
Best Glossier Serum
Glossier Super Bounce Serum
View On Sephora $32 View On Glossier.com $32
What We Love: It’s light and effective.
What We Don’t Love: Its only focus is hydrating and moisturizing, which isn’t ideal if you prefer a multi-tasking formula.
“Super bounce is the best,” says Hughes. “It’s simple and gives you gorgeous plump skin because of its mainly hyaluronic acid base. It’s just a no-fuss product.” In addition to HA, the serum has smoothing pro-vitamin B5 and moisturizing glycerin.
Best Glossier Eyeliner
Glossier No. 1 Pencil
View On Glossier.com $18
What We Love: It glides on beautifully.
What We Don’t Love: It dries down quickly so you have to work fast.
“When you want a product to give you options, the No. 1 Pencil is it,” says Drescher. “It glides on so effortlessly its easy to create a smudgy eyeliner or crisp line.” However, both Drescher and Hughes note it dries super fast. “They are easy to use, but I would recommend blending it in quickly because it’s going to set and stay on for a long time,” says Hughes. It comes in 10 shades, ranging from traditional black and brown to bold greens and lavender.
Best Glossier Moisturizer
Glossier After Baume
View On Sephora $30 View On Glossier.com $30
What We Love: It’s extremely moisturizing.
What We Don’t Love: You have to dip your fingers inside the jar, which may not be as sanitary as other vessels.
After Baume is the barrier cream of our dreams. “It’s this rich, emollient salve,” says Hughes. “You can use it under any base makeup, and I just love how malleable it is.” Even though it’s quite rich, Lopez says it works wonders on her oily skin. “I wear it all year long, no matter the weather — I just use smaller amounts of it during the warmer months and larger amounts in the colder months.”
Best Glossier Liquid Shadow
Glossier Lidstar
View On Sephora $18 View On Glossier.com $18
What We Love: The formula makes it so easy to apply with your fingers.
What We Don’t Love: It’s super glittery, which may be too much if you prefer a subtle shimmer.
“When you want eyeshadow without the work, Lidstar will be your best friend,” says Lopez. Drescher adds: “I love applying these in the center of the eyes for a little shimmer highlight.” The formula is lightweight and sheer, providing a veil of silky coverage that goes on like a cream and dries down to last all day. It comes in eight gorgeous shades including lilac, smoky green, and baby pink.
Best Glossier Powder Shadow
Glossier Monochrome Essential Eyeshadow Trio Palette
View On Sephora $22 View On Glossier.com $22
What We Love: You can use it for an easy, monochromatic look.
What We Don’t Love: It’s meant to give a wash of color, so if you prefer bold looks this isn’t for you.
The Monochrome palettes each have a monochromatic set in three finishes — matte, satin, and metallic. Hughes loves Prairie, an olive green set, “for its rich, tonal shades.” Lopez, on the other hand, always reaches for Jute, a soft taupe trio. Jute features a “‘90s cool matte eyeshadow paired with a natural eye-enhancing satin and metallic finish that offers a ramped-up, playful look without too much effort,” says Drescher.
Best Glossier Lip Product
Glossier G Suit Soft Touch Lip Creme
View on Sephora View On Glossier.com $24
What We Love: It’s easy to apply and super comfortable to wear.
What We Don’t Love: It’s not transfer-proof.
“I always look for pigment payoff from matte lipsticks,” says Lopez, and G Suit delivers, she emphasizes. “It’s so comfortable to wear for multiple hours, and I love mixing and matching the colors for a custom lip color.” It has a buttery, demi-matte finish and is available in nine rich shades of berry, orange, pink, and brown.
Best Glossier Body Moisturizer
Glossier Body Hero Daily Perfecting Cream
View On Glossier.com $28
What We Love: It’s hydrating and sinks into skin fast.
What We Don’t Love: It’s scented, which isn’t ideal if you prefer fragrance-free formulas.
Packed with moisturizing glycerin and avocado oil, plus light-reflecting pearls, this body lotion is what Drescher calls a skin-care grade body lotion, “which is revolutionary, especially at this price,” she says. Lopez adds that “it gives the perfect amount of skin-glowing pink glimmer without any oily residue, and the orange-neroli scent is intoxicating!”
Best Glossier Body Cleanser
Glossier Body Hero Exfoliating Bar
View On Glossier.com $16
What We Love: It turns cleansing into a relaxing self-care moment.
What We Don’t Love: For those with sensitive skin, the exfoliating beads may feel too rough.
This bar mixes finely milled bamboo powder with sunflower seed oil and aloe leaf juice to exfoliate, cleanse, and moisturize in one go. “I don’t have perfect skin, so the gentle exfoliation I get from this bar keeps any texture at bay,” says Lopez. Plus, “I’m a sucker for the orange blossom neroli fragrance blend of the Body Hero Products.”
