It’s time to talk about something inherently unsexy: foot health. But, TBH, I don’t think this is a topic that’s discussed enough, and when it is, it’s probably already too late. As in, you get to a certain age and you start to feel some major foot fatigue, which is when you go to a podiatrist who encourages you to wear a) better shoes and b) try insoles. But, I’m here to be proactive in life and limit any of these later-in-life instances by acting now. That means I’ve made Fulton’s insole a part of my daily routine—and best of all? They’re on sale for InStyle readers only during the annual InStyle InSider Sale, when you use the code INSTYLE20 at checkout (for an additional 20 percent off its already-marked-down price).
I first waxed poetic about this particular “unsexy” comfort hack last year. I say unsexy because not a single person would think insoles are a sexy topic of discussion; the shoe essentials are typically thought of as more essential than anything else, but I’d go so far as to put them into the fashion hack category. That’s because a “hack” is something that makes something better—it’s a clever fix. And because I wear lots of shoes, I know that not every style is comfy straight-out-of-the-box. The hack or fix in this case? Fulton’s insoles (duh!) that can be put into any shoes that come with removable insoles. The results? Out-of-this-world comfort—not to mention essential support for foot health—that you have to try to believe.

Fulton’s insoles are designed by podiatrists to ensure the absolute best, most essential features are woven into their DNA. That means the inserts are made to eliminate a plethora of pains like foot, back, and knee aches, as well as help with sore joints and, of course, plantar fasciitis. There’s a shock-absorbing cork base that reduces the impacts long walking (or standing) on your feet can have on your body. The built-in arch supports helps with alignment, the natural foam offers supreme comfort, and a deep heel cup offers stabilization while you walk. All in all, the comfort is obviously there, for immediate relief when you slip into your shoes, but long term benefits are there, too—aka, long-term aches and pains from wearing improper shoes that can then impact your entire body.
Once you put Fulton’s into your shoes (which, by the way, is easy, since no trimming is required to get the perfect fit), your life will be changed. I’ve worn my fair share of uncomfy shoes, and every time, I realize how much achy feet impact my entire body—and thus, mood. I’m cranky, I’m crabby, and I’m achy. But I’m too old to deal with these silly foot frustrations, which is why I’ve put Fulton’s into all my sneakers, upping the comfort ten fold.
What’s more, Fulton’s insoles are a family favorite—and when I say family, I mean every single person in my family swears by them. My brother-in-law, a chef who spends long hours on his feet, has said they’ve made his workday in the kitchen bearable; my mom, a retail worker who walk on hard concrete floors for nine-plus hours a day, has said the insoles have reduced her knee aches; and I, a New Yorker who easily walks 20,000-steps a day, swear by them for limiting the effects 20,000 steps has on me. I’m no longer as fatigued, nor do I deal with sore feet or achy heels.
All that to say, insoles are kind of, sort of sexy, and I’m ready to tell everyone about them. Snag your pair(s) while they’re exclusively on sale for InStyle readers only. Don’t forget to enter the code INSTYLE20 at checkout to see that price drop, drop, drop.
