Emily Blunt knows how to do a Hollywood glam moment. See: her Schiaparelli Oscar’s dress with the floating straps, or the plunging red Louis Vuitton she wore for her The Devil Wears Prada reunion at the SAG Awards. But the actor ran in the opposite direction for her Paris premiere of The Fall Guy.
Blunt decided to forgo the classic, red-carpet friendly gown in favor of something a little more fashion forward. Styled by Jessica Paster, the actor wore a look fresh off the runway—and fresh out of the ground. Blunt pulled look 14 from Loewe’s fall 2024 collection: a button-up blouse and billowing, belted trousers, both printed with radishes and potatoes. Unlike the chunky leather shoes that walked the runway, the actor opted for an open-toed nude heel instead. She made the runway look red carpet-ready with the help of diamond drop earrings and a pink lip.
Per Sarah Mower’s Vogue Runway review of the Loewe show, the root vegetables that adorned Blunt’s outfit were inspired by patterns on 18th century Chelsea porcelain. Although a radish might seem like a bit of an odd choice when China usually features florals and fruits, the vibrant colors on this Loewe set make a compelling case. And, as a bonus, we love to see English Rose Emily Blunt wearing an outfit with a subtle British influence.
