Spring has officially sprung, and nobody is more excited (or should we say, obsessed?) than Olivia Rodrigo.
The singer, who is wrapping up her four-night residency at Madison Square Garden in New York, left her soundcheck looking ready for a nice long sit in the park. To celebrate the 70-degree day, Rodrigo broke out a classic warm weather outfit combo.
Rodrigo wore a lightweight white cotton maxi dress, featuring a pattern of tiny orange flowers. She contrasted her dainty slip dress with a pair of chunky light brown Frye campus boots. It’s the perfect time of year to juxtapose the two pieces, where it’s not so hot you need to forgo boots, but warm enough that you can ditch your jacket.
The Guts singer added a smattering of cool, of-the-moment accessories: a pair of black oval sunglasses, and a cherry red Coach Ergo shoulder bag. The vintage Coach purse has been having quite a moment thanks to TikTok, where they’ve become something of a hot ticket item, as well as a therapeutic restoration project. The “thrift store Birkin,” if you will, has lowered the barrier to entry into the luxury bag market for many members of Gen-Z, who may not otherwise be able to afford designer purses.
With her new-old Ergo and floral slip dress, Olivia Rodrigo could be any other girl lounging in the park on a perfect day. But be warned—get your vintage Coach bag now, before the superstar blows up another under-the-radar brand.
