Kim is also a fan of the Noughties accessory.
Another day, another bikini-clad slay for King Kylie. The Kylie Cosmetics founder and her sisters have been busy posting plenty of envy-inducing snippets from their family spring break trip to Turks and Caicos, including the requisite bikini pics of them basking in the sun. After her older sisters Kim Kardashian, Khloé, and Kourtney shared their own sizzling swimsuit photo shoots on Instagram, Jenner made her own thirst trap carousel featuring a popular Y2K accessory – and yes, she looks phenomenal.
Clad in a tiny neon orange string bikini that complemented her Caribbean tan, the mom-of-two was giving beach bombshell in a set of three Instagram photos she shared on Monday, April 9. In the first, Jenner smoldered on camera while showing off her new wavy brunette extensions and dainty gold belly chain, which enhanced her glow and added a hint of shimmer to her colorful bikini thong bottoms.
She finished off her tropical look with natural bronze makeup, including a berry lip, bold brows, holographic nails, and countless other jewelry pieces, which she gave fans a closer look at in her second and third photos. In addition to a gold pendant necklace, Jenner accessorized with five gold rings – including one that linked into a bracelet – and a stack of other gold bangles, watches, and chains around her left wrist.
This isn’t the first time the Khy founder has styled her ‘fits with a belly chain, an accessory that was once a Noughties staple for stars like Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Beyoncé, and Mariah Carey. Waist chains frequently accompany her bikini looks, and Jenner has even worn them to elevate a simple t-shirt or crop top while calling attention to her toned midriff. Even big sister Kim is a fan of bringing the Y2K trend back.
Judging from the countless compliments filling up the comments section and Jenner’s status as a trendsetter, is summer 2024 the year belly chains officially make a comeback? We’re staying tuned (and clicking “add to cart” in the meantime).
