My entire family put the doctor-designed insoles to the test.
I know how most families are: They don’t agree on everything, and while my family is the same — we have our varying opinions on things and we’re open to hearing each other out — we do tend to like a lot of the same things. So, after I waxed poetic about a style hack that’s made me love my shoes again (I’ll get to that in a minute), my family, who also places heavy emphasis on comfort-first footwear, was curious to try it out, too. To which I thought, let’s really test my fashion hack to its limits.
Insoles are nothing new, but Fulton’s are a relatively fresh addition to the market — and it’s a good thing, because they’re superior on so many levels. I, a New York-based editor who walks a lot every single day (I average about 20,000 steps) had almost given up on hoping that I wouldn’t end my nights with foot pain. I found comfy sneakers I could walk miles in, but I wasn’t fully satisfied until I put Fulton’s insoles into my kicks. Instant relief. Instant comfort. I felt like I was walking on clouds. I called my mom and told her about my discovery, and then, I went on to write about it.

Because sharing is caring, I decided to get my mom, brother-in-law, sister, dad, and fiancé in on my hack. We all do different things that require a varying number of hours on our feet. My brother-in-law, a full-time chef, obviously spends lots of time in his shoes, running around the kitchen, while my mom clocks in nine-plus hours on a hard concert retail floor. I was most curious to see their reaction to adding the classic insoles into their shoes, and to no surprise, they were, quite literally, floored by the comfort.
Fulton’s insoles were made to be put to the limit, which kind of, sort of, doesn’t exist with these, as the comfort is pretty much continuous. They’re designed from a shock-absorbing cork that reduces the impact long hours on your feet can have on your body, natural foam that’s über comfy, built-in arch support that’s essential for body alignment, and a deep heel cup for stabilization while walking. The result of such smartly (doctor-designed) insoles? All-day comfort, foot, knee, and back pain relief, better posture, and reduced fatigue — and that’s not even all. You can read about all the positives here.
My mom and brother-in-law mentioned that after standing on their feet in regular shoes, they were ugh-ing after just a few hours; with Fulton insoles in their shoes, they stood all day long sans any frustrations — hour two, hour four, and hour eight. My fiancé also loves his insoles; he has flat feet, so he really needs the extra support, and since wearing them, his feet don’t get so fatigued post walking, nor does he get the usual ankle and arch pain.
I don’t have to say it again, as I’ve professed my love for them before, but something this good bear’s repeating: Fulton insoles have made so many of my shoes (aka, those with removable insoles that I can then swap out with my Fulton’s) all the more comfortable.
