Zendaya has wasted no time delivering statement fashions during her Challengers press tour this month. The newly-blonde actor—who rarely misses on the red carpet—once again teamed up with her stylist Law Roach to embrace method dressing at its finest; Many of her ensembles thus far have nodded to the film’s tennis focus, choosing silhouettes that are slightly sporty and very much country club-worthy. (Did you catch her tennis racked-printed Loewe gown in Australia, for one?).
This weekend, Zendaya continued her style reign with three new looks, a mix of custom and vintage, all designed by Louis Vuitton. Last night in Paris, the star hit the step and repeat in a custom white strapless gown, completed with a wide leather belt at the hips. The Bulgari necklace lent a glamorous finish to the look. While it was very much Old Hollywood-worthy, the all-white hue also very much channeled the clean and minimal look of tennis outfits that are often seen on the court.
Earlier in the day, the star also attended a photo call for the film in a silky green button-up and trousers from Vuitton’s spring 1999 collection, designed by Marc Jacobs. Paired with strappy sandals and a structured bag, the timeless design felt just as current today. Ditto for the checkered green and white coat she wore for another photo call this weekend; That graphic outerwear was from Vuitton’s spring 2013 collection, which famously played off the label’s signature Damier pattern. It also happened to be in tennis ball-green—thematic dressing at its finest.
