My mom and I are different in a lot of ways, but we both love comfortable fashion. Growing up, I’d wear skinny jeans, tops made from scratchy fabrics, and other too-tight clothing in the name of fashion, and I remember my mom telling me I’d eventually grow out of it. I didn’t believe her then, but now at 27 years old, you won’t catch me in anything constricting. So it should come as no surprise that my mom and I have fallen in love with the Spanx AirEssentials Jumpsuit.
It’s made from the same buttery soft material as their Oprah-loved AirEssentials Half-Zip Pullover Sweatshirt and matching wide-leg pants (that are both finally back in stock, BTW.) It comes in five colors including heather gray, black, navy, olive green, and brown, and sizes range from XS to XL with the fit option of petite and tall. The jumpsuit features an easy-fit design with a tank-style top and a wide-leg bottom. There’s a drawstring at the waist to give the piece a bit more shape, and a keyhole and button closure at the back neck for easy on and off.

On the days that I don’t feel like getting dressed but still want to be cute and comfortable I throw on my Spanx jumpsuit. The fabric is unbelievably soft on the skin, has a lot of give and is super lightweight. It’s easy to style, and I often pair it with the matching Half-Zip Pullover Sweatshirt on cooler days, but now that it’s spring and the weather is starting to warm up, I can go jacket-free.
My mom has made her Spanx jumpsuit her uniform all year round. She says, “it feels like [she’s] just wearing pajamas.” The material is “breathable, offers tons of stretch,” and “even comes in a petite option that’s perfect for her height.” My mom also appreciates that “the fabric isn’t see-through or thin,” so it’s great for the transitional weather. Plus, the drawstring at the waist gives her a bit of shape. At the moment, she’s been styling her jumpsuit with a denim jacket and white sneakers.
We both will be picking up a few more colors for spring, and we’re doing so ASAP — colors are already selling out. Shop more Spanx AirEssentials Jumpsuits, below.
