Say goodbye to pinched toes. If fall 2024 proved anything, square-toed boots are coming for the tapered, pointy-toed silhouette that’s been dominating the footwear landscape. Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Eckhaus Latta were all among the labels that sent the squared-off toe down the runway. Now, celebrities, including the perennially stylish Zoë Kravitz, are on board.
Last night the actor, joined by friend Ilana Glazer, attended an SNL dinner in New York City. Kravitz stayed true to her classic style, wearing a pair of black, single-cuffed jeans and an open white button-up, the collar pulled over the lapel of her black trench coat, which she knotted at the waist. She paired her light blouse to her white Everyday hobo bag from The Row. She also donned a pair of dangly, black beaded earrings.
But the real star of the show were Kravitz’s chunky, black boots, which added a toughness to her more neutral outfit. Still, it didn’t seem at odds with her oversized earrings, rather underscoring her edgy boho tendencies. Glazer also got the memo, wearing a pair of brown square-toed boots with her jeans and white tank tee.
Whether you’re into the flatter soles like at Louis Vuitton, or Zoë Kravitz’s boosted platform, the square toe is just getting started. Would you swap in your tapered toes for a chunky, square boot?
