I found lookalikes starting at $34.
I’ve always had a soft spot for spring shoes; ballet flats, Mary Janes, and the occasional open-toed heel are a warm welcome following winter’s clunky footwear. But there’s one style I’ve become completely obsessed with this season: loafers.
When Katie Holmes stepped out in a pair of super sleek flat loafers in February, I immediately added a pair to my cart and haven’t taken them off much since; they’re practical yet outfit-elevating and, yes, totally comfortable. Since slipping into my newest pair, I’ve been thinking about adding another style to my wardrobe, though I wasn’t sure if I should. However, Ariana Grande officially convinced me to do so with her latest outing.
The singer sported a pair of crocodile-embossed loafers backstage at Saturday Night Live, and I fell instantly in love. In fact, I adored her entire look; it was playful and sophisticated, from the button-down with ruffles to the wide-leg trousers, but it was those green loafers I couldn’t stop thinking about. They’re chic and subtly eye-catching, so of course I set out to find lookalikes, and discovered seven similar styles starting at $34.

Feversole Loafer
Buy on Amazon $34
To get the look for less, consider grabbing Feversole’s $34 loafers from Amazon. These feature a metal detail across the bridge of the foot like Grande’s pair and boast nearly 1,000 perfect ratings. Shoppers have described the style as “elegant” and “rich looking,” while others have noted they’re “so comfortable, [they] wear them almost every day,” with the loafers having a softness and flexibility that “forms to the shape” of shoppers’ feet. As one person so succinctly put it, they’re comfortable, stylish, and well priced. Done, done, and done.
J.Crew Winona Penny Loafer
Buy on Jcrew.com $248 $130
Real leather loafers are never cheap, but this croc-embossed style is majorly marked down at J.Crew right now. The Winona loafers have a classic look — a super small heel and penny keeper — and are loved by shoppers, who have deemed them the “perfect” shoe that “goes with everything.” One fan noted, “These shoes instantly dress up any outfit and look timeless,” while someone else mentioned the classic silhouette and modern details allow them to wear the loafers with jeans, trousers, skirts, and more. Plus, they were “able to break them in on day one.”
Everlane the Lug Loafer
Buy on Everlane.com $195 $156
Grande opted for a flat loafer, but if you prefer a chunkier style — which Annette Bening and Jennifer Garner proved are still majorly in — Everlane’s are a must. The brand’s lug-sole loafer is available in both a black and brown croc-embossed leather and, according to customers, features a “cushiony” sole and spacious “toe box” that prevents rubbing and blisters. “The more I’ve worn them, the more comfortable they’ve gotten,” gushed one person while another wrote the “very comfortable” style instantly “elevated any outfit.”
Grande convinced me that croc-embossed loafers are the chic, outfit-elevating spring style my shoe collection is missing. Shop more loafers inspired by her look — including a nearly identical green pair — below.
