Celebs wore unexpected colors that made a splash.
The best-dressed celebs wore a rainbow of colors at the 2024 Oscars, but two colors in particular made a splash on the red carpet: baby blues and soft, seafoam greens. While there were still plenty of bold blacks and shimmering metallics to walk down the step and repeat, we found these watery hues refreshing from the heavier hues.
Lupita Nyong’o in a Giorgio Armani Privé sequined dress and Da’vine Joy Randolph in a frilly Louis Vuitton frock twinned in similar blues. At the same time, actors like Taylor Zakhar Perez also took note of the color trend with his powdery Prada suit. Designer Elie Saab served up a frothy seafoam-colored dress for Hailee Steinfeld that floated across the red carpet, while Emma Stone stood out in a sophisticated and structured Louis Vuitton look rendered in soft green.
See ahead for the most beautiful blue and glamorous green looks from the 2024 Oscars red carpet.

Winner of the Best Actress award for her work in Poor Things, Stone chose to wear a minty cloqué seashell jacquard gown with a tulip-constructed bustier, which made a bold style statement. She polished off her look with high-end jewelry from the brand.
