Billie Eilish could become a two-time Academy Award-winning artist on Sunday, March 10, for her song “What Was I Made For” and the singer arrived at the 2024 Oscars looking like she was made for this.
Eilish looked like she'd taken inspiration straight from Gossip Girl for her preppy red carpet Chanel look, pairing a crisp white button up enhanced by sparkling buttons with an oversized yet structured black blazer and a pencil skirt.
The "Happier Than Ever" singer's midi-length black-and-white plaid skirt was classic Chanel, and she further leaned into the prep school aesthetic by pairing her black leather mary jane shoes with whimsical high white socks. Eilish accessorized with a trendy boxy Chanel tweed bag and a brooch on her blazer's lapel. The 22-year-old went sultry with her beauty look, styling her long black locks into voluminous round layers and curtain bangs. She complemented her outfit with a simple makeup look that included a nude matte lip and summery peach blush.

Eilish is slated to perform her nominated song from Barbie during this year’s ceremony. The record is nominated along with one of Barbie‘s other hits, Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt’s “I’m Just Ken.” Ryan Gosling, who sings the ’80s power ballad in the movie, is also tapped to take the stage.
Eilish and her brother, Finneas O’Connell, took home the Best Song award in 2022 when they won for their James Bond theme song, “No Time to Die.” If the brother-sister duo win the award this year, Eilish will become the youngest two-time Oscar winner in history, according to Forbes.
The song took home the gold gramophone for Song of the Year last month at the Grammys. In true Eilish fashion, the pop star delivered a hilarious and humble acceptance speech. “Damn, dude! I’m shocked out of my balls!” she told the crowd. “Everybody in this category, that was a crazy list of incredible people.” The song also received the Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media.
Although Eilish wasn't nominated at last year's Oscars (the Best Original Song nominees included Lady Gaga, Diane Warren, Rihanna, and more), she attended the Vanity Fair after-party in a tulle ballgown with a massive train that fanned out several feet around the dress.
